Using old Super 8 film reels shot by her grandfather, Magdalena Froger attempts to piece together the puzzle of her family's past. From one country to the next, from one shore to the next, archival images come face to face with her personal fiction.
Magdalena Froger
Born in Paris in 1993, Magdalena Froger studied video art for a year before enrolling in the cinema section at ECAL in 2013. She continued her education with a Master's degree in Visual Arts. She directed several short films that were shown in various festivals. She now lives and works beetween Berlin and Parisparis, where she is working on her first feature film project.
