Mariana Caló e Francisco Queimadela

Mariana Caló (1984, Viana do Castelo) and Francisco Queimadela (1985, Coimbra) both hold degrees in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto and have been working collaboratively as an artistic duo since 2010. Their practice is grounded in a distinct engagement with the moving image, explored through filmmaking and its intersection with site-specific and installation environments, often in dialogue with drawing, painting, photography, or sculpture. They live and work in Porto.
