Private Collection 2026 Performance Cycle

For its 2026 edition, the programme presents Antes do Fogo, by Tânia Dinis, which uses family photographs, home movies, and memories of industrial work and immigration to reflect on the persistence of memory in the face of destruction and forgetting; dusty blues, flashes of white, by Rossana Mendes Fonseca and Diogo Alves Pinto, which brings together autobiographical music and images from a personal archive to create an audiovisual narrative about loss, self-discovery, and the fragmentation of memory; and Shadow Control, by Agnieszka and Artur Janasik, which reflects on invisible mechanisms of control — social, cultural, and internal — questioning the extent to which our choices are truly free or the result of deeply rooted conditioning.
