Eighteen images to watch time go by Exhibition

← All Programming

The manipulation of a family photographic archive is the starting point for this exhibition, which brings together a video and a polyptych of photographic reproductions. Based on a single photograph depicting a group of people, possibly a family, the works combine cropping the photographic reproduction with an exploration of the passage between reality and fiction. In the polyptych, a sequence of eighteen reproductions progressively crops the figures, alluding to their gradual disappearance. The video revisits this same operation, making the process of removing the figures visible.
