Part of the session: Memory and Archive #5

Three long-distance best friends, an archival fragment from the International Institute for the Conservation, Archiving and Distribution of Other People’s Memories (IICADOM), and a ten-minute single-take recording come together in this ethnographic experiment. A Game of Chess (2026) imagines a world in which a ‘magical postcard’ enters the lives of three friends, only to eventually begin speaking back.
