Noé Reutenauer lives and works in Belgium. Since entering the “Real Life,” he has been searching for meaning in a phrase that has become his inner mantra, yet one he is not sure he understands: “Art is what makes Life more interesting than Art.” This quest is particularly evident in his film Zoufs, which depicts the daily lives of seven people with mental disabilities, including Kirill Patou, the lovable protagonist of his first feature-length documentary, Une bosse dans le coeur (A Bump in the Heart). Since then, the quest has continued, both in documentary and fiction.
