Sebastian Molina Ruiz

Sebastian Molina Ruiz (Mexico City, 1995) studied Art History at Universidad Iberoamericana and Filmmaking at the CCC, and is a graduate of the Doc Nomads master’s program. He participated in Talents Guadalajara 2022, Berlinale Talents 2025, IDFA Academy 2025 and Interaction 2025. His films have been screened at festivals such as Locarno, MoMA New Directors/New Films, IDFA, Hot Docs, and have received awards at Morelia, FICUNAM, FICG among others. He is currently preparing his second feature film, Aqui no es así.
