I Don’t Repeat it Twice Film

Each new attempt to recall becomes an overwrite: The images layer, distorting and erasing the original memory. This process uses the metaphor of memory as an analog tape that degrades irreversibly with each playback. The film examines the blurred line between the event and its subsequent interpretations, turning personal memories into a site of uncertainty.

Ksusha Kernosenko

Based in Saint Petersburg, Ksusha Kernosenko a filmmaker and a student of Artur Aristakisyan at the Saint Petersburg School of New Cinema. Originally from Rostov-on-Don in southern Russia, she completed one short film and is currently working on another. Her work explores themes of memory and the past, where she seeks an equal balance between the sensory and the conceptual.
