Part of the session: Lives and Places #8

Across generations in the Village of Fools—as the hamlet of Corte Gafo de Cima is known—fictions were created to make sense of reality. A film is finished, though unfinished: made of silences and empty images, of hesitations and corrections still to be made, driven by the urgency of not letting the memories of a distant Alentejo village die, even as a love affair fades away.
