Bintou is from Burkina Faso and loves to lead a modern lifestyle. She dreams of becoming a famous dressmaker. Suddenly her life is turned upside-down when she has to take responsibility for her own daughter again who has been living in a children’s home so far. Simone was born in 1984 in stuttgart. She is a journalist and filmmaker. Simone studied romance philology and political sciences in stuttgart and paris. After her graduation she continued her studies at the film academy baden-württemberg where she realized several short movies and three long documentaries. Her films are shown and awarded at national and international film festivals. Simone lives in berlin.
