biografia

Ignacio Gatica was born in Buenos Aires on april 18th 1978. Specializing in cinematography and still photography he studied image and sound design at Buenos Aires University and has also completed several workshops on film and fashion photography. Gatica now dedicates his some of his time to sharing his own knowledge leading courses on audiovisual design at Architecture College. Since 2004 gatica has been hired for productions in numerous international locales including the United States, France, Mexico, Uruguay, Ecuador, Brazil and Cuba. In 2007 he embarked on his own entrepreneurial endeavor ojo argento productions. The project is conceived as a multidisciplinary space merging design and communication professionals. His first shortfilm -blanco-participated in 2013 at the international Venice film festival in the orizzonti section.
