Vinko Tomicic was born in Antofagasta, Chile in 1987. In 2006, he goes to Santiago to study sound engineering at the technology university of chile. In 2008, he decides to cross the Andes Mountain to study image and sound design, in the university of Buenos Aires. There, he begins to approach to cinematography direction. After directing several short films and experimental films, he directs in 2012, the documentary “La Antesala”, and the fiction short “Durmiente”, recently ended (first award in its category at the festival rec argentina 2014 and selected for the competition in Cali’s International Film Festival in Colombia). Now he is working in the post-production of his first feature film, “el fumigador”. This film will participate in the flicc, latinoamerican audiovisual market in Mexico df.
