In a time of social isolation, people look for ways to cope with loneliness. Video calls proved to bring some normality in this abnormal period. In these calls we can talk about life and about our feelings; about what we did during the day, about what we have planned for the next day. Everything so that we feel less alone.

Raju Oliveira, young master student and aspiring filmmaker, graduated in multimedia at the University of Porto. He has carried out documentary works focusing on social issues, from documenting the experience of street musicians and fishermen, to covering protests and social movements on gender issues. As a migrant, coming from a humble area of Brazil, and due to the reality he witnessed, he has been trying through his work to get across these issues. Currently studying master's degree in documentary cinema at the Polytechnic of Porto.
