A filmmaker dives into his inner self (the notes on his phone) to revive abandoned film ideas that had been casualties to fear and self-doubt. The film is a tapes try of those ideas - sketches woven together to present a playful journey in search of self-compassion.
Cameron Nicoll is a British documentary filmmaker based in Berlin. After studying Psychology, Cameron started making films that aim to bring a light and personal touch whilst digging into psychological themes. His film Rare Creatures screened at several UK festivals, including Glasgow Short Film Festival 2020 and Edinburgh Close:Up Docufest 2021, where it won the award for Best Scottish Production. His next short, The Tyranny of Petty Things was executive produced by Paul Sng, and premiered at Glasgow Short Film Festival 2021.
