Two brothers, who haven’t spoken in years, meet at their mother’s funeral where they must deal with their mourning family, their obligations as sons and their own feelings of loss.

André Marques (b.1984) is a portuguese writer/director/producer. He works in fiction, experimental, documentaries and advertising. “luminita” is his 4th short fiction, after his “kids trilogy” which included the multi-awarded “joão e o cão” (berlin iff 2008), “o lago” and “schogetten”. He’s currently developing his first feature film.
