LandMarks # 5 - the delay or vicious cycle is a performance essay designed within the LandMarks series project, which began in 2015. This project reflects a set of personal and biographical issues concerning Iranian descent, associated with identity, territory, memory, archive, travel and family having as main expression resources visual arts, performance art and gastronomy.

Rebecca Moradalizadeh (n. 1989, London) of Portuguese-Iranian origin, an artist, lives and works in Porto. She holds a Master's Degree (2017) in Artistic Studies - Estudos Museológicos e Curadoriais pela FBAUP - Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto and with university degree (2011) in Artes Plásticas - Multimédia, by the same institution. Since 2010 she has been developing an artistic career in the fine arts, presenting her work in solo and group exhibitions / presentations in Portugal, Sheffield and Berlin. She participated in several artistic residencies, workshops and courses where she collaborated with various artists. The areas she explores are performance, video art, photography, sound art and drawing as installation, focusing on the use of the human being's physical and psychological body and its repercussions in the social and political context.
